CATEGORIES:
       • Children
       • Individual
       • Groups
REGISTRATION

       • To participate it is required to sign up ON-LINE before June 1st or the registration booth on saturday before 5:00 p.m.
       • All participants must send an jpg image or deliver at the registration booth before the event, or it won't be able to compete.
       • If you are taking audio or music, you must take it in an audio format CD to be given at the registration booth the day of the event.
       • Participants can only participate in 1 category.
       • All participants must pick up their number at the registration booth before 5:00 p.m.

GENERALS:
       • Costume themes must be: Comics, Anime, Manga, Fantasy, Videogames, Cartoons, Sci-Fi or Movies related to the event.
       • The categories are limited as follows:

               - Individual - 100 Participants
               - Groups - 25 Teams
               - Children - 50 Participantss

Minimim 8 participants/teams.
       • If the participants are not in the area of the contest by 6:30 pm, they will be disqualified.

STAGE RULES:
       • All presentations are limited to 1 minute in indivudal and 3 minutes in groups.
       • It is forbidden to use metal weapons like swords, katanas, etc.
       • For the security of yourself and the visitors, its forbidden to use fireworks of any kinda that may produce, sound, light or smoke or any other chemical or flammable substance.
       • You can't throw anything to the public without the express permission of the contest organizers.
       • Any stunts or choreography that may put in risk yourself or any member of your team will be your own responsability.

JUDGES & SCORES:
       • The judges will be announced the day of the event.
       • The participants will be judged in 2 parts:
               - Costume: in which they will judge craftmanship, materials and technique.
               - Presentation: Likeness to the character  and perfomance to the public.
       • All scores and decision by the judges are final.

PRIZES:
       Children: 1st Place : $100 USD and Diploma
                      2nd Place : Diploma
       Groups: 1st Place : $300 USD and Diploma
                      2nd & 3rd Place : Diploma
       Individual: 1st Place : $300 USD and Diploma
                      2nd Place : $100 USD and Diploma

Iron Cosplay

Sunday June 6th 15:00 to 17:00 hrs

The Iron Cosplay contest is inspired in the popular show "Iron Chef". It's a timed event where team compete to see who makes the best costume in an specified time. The event is limited to 4 teams of 3 persons each.

REGISTRATION:

       • The 3-person team MUST register ON-LINE by no later than May 25th.
       • The team must send an image of the 3 members of the team in cosplays they have made.
       • Teams selected will be posted in the official website on May 31st.

GENERALS:

       • One member in each team will serve as model on each round-
       • Teams can't bring any materials to the contest everything will be provided.
       • We recommend to bring silicone pistols and bars, scissors, cutter, packing tape & stapler, we'll try to provide it, but we can't guarantee there will be everything for all teams.

STAGE 1:

       • The objective of the 1st Stage is to make a costume of a pre-existent character using a "Secret Ingredient" to be know at the start of the contest.
       • The stage is limited to 30 minutes, at the end of that time all construction must be stopped.
       • The costume must be of a pre-existent character. It's not recommended to use unknowns characters.
       • The costume MUST user the "Secret Ingredient".

STAGE 2:

       • The 2 best teams of 1st Stage will compete on the 2nd stage.
       • The objetive of the 2nd Stage to to make a costume of a character within an specific theme to be know at the start of the stage.
       • The stage is limited to 40 minutes, at the end of that time all construction must be stopped
       • The costume must be of a pre-existent character. It's not recommended to use unknowns characters.
       • The costume MUST be in the selected theme.

JUDGES & SCORES:
       • The judges will be announced the day of the event.
       • The teams will be judged in:
               - Craftmaship: How well the costume is done.
               - Likeness: How well it resembles the original character.
               - Detail: How detailed is the costume
               - Creativity: How creative they used the materials.
       • All scores and decision by the judges are final.

PRIZES:
       1st Place : $200 USD and Diploma
       2nd Place : Diploma
